Trevon (Tre) Bosley

Trevon (Tre) Bosley, from Chicago’s South Side, grew up witnessing gun violence and poverty. After losing his cousin Vincent Avant, killed near Vincent’s home, and brother Terrell Bosley, killed at church, to gun violence, Tre committed his life to violence prevention. Since 2011, he has worked with The B.R.A.V.E. Youth Leaders of St. Sabina, organizing peace marches, mentoring, job fairs, and voter registration. Today, Tre is an electrical engineer, board co-chair for March for Our Lives, a Giffords Courage Fellow alumnus, and a community organizer for the Community Justice Action Fund.
