
Oluchi Omeoga
Oluchi Omeoga is a Minnesota-born organizer who still lives and organizes in Minneapolis, Minnesota, today. Born from Igbo immigrants from Nigeria, Oluchi is a co-founder and founding Core Team member of Black Visions, a black-led local organization that centers on Black queer and trans folks in Minnesota. In Oluchi’s role at Black Visions and together with other abolitionist organizations, over $1 million has been diverted from the police budget in 2018. Oluchi also co-founded the Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project, or BLMP, and still works there to this day as the co-executive director.
