Ola Osifo Osaze

Ola Osifo Osaze is a formerly undocumented trans migrant of Edo and Yoruba descent, born in Nigeria and now based in New York City. With decades of experience in organizing, movement building, and fund-raising for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and migrant communities, Ola serves as the cultivation strategist at the Trans Justice Funding Project. Ola was the founding director of BLMP and co-founded the Black Migrant Power Fund. Ola’s work centers on co-creating and sustaining movement-led initiatives through a Black, queer, and trans-liberatory lens.
