JD Davids, a disabled and chronically ill strategist and writer who served on the inaugural leadership team for Radical Communicators Network, is in the biography and memoir program at CUNY Graduate Center. He’s dedicated to building the power of chronically ill and disabled people, with a long history in HIV activism, queer and trans liberation, and digital communications. A longtime member of ACT UP Philadelphia, he later served as director of strategic communications for TheBody.com, co-founded Long COVID Justice, and writes The Cranky Queer Guide to Chronic Illness.
